Why We Formed a Relay For Life Fundraising Team

Chi Gamma Gamma Chapter of Omega Psi Phi Fraternity Inc. has participated in Relay for Life for 20 consecutive years, raising over a $175,000! Our chapter has many cancer survivors who we pay tribute to as well as dear friends and loved ones. Every year we decorate our luminaria bags and organize them to form an "Omega" symbol.

This is more than an event for us! We partner with the Marietta Roswell Alumnae Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority Inc. Although we raise money seperatly, we join together on event day. We prepare food for faimily and friends to sit back and enjoy the afternoon.

As a team, we are taking action to help eliminate cancer as a major health problem. Most of ourfundraisers are cancer suvivors themselves! At our Relay event, we take turns walking around the track to raise money and awareness to help the American Cancer Society in their lifesaving mission.
