Most of us know someone who has been affected by cancer, whether it be a family member, a friend or you personally. It matters how we take that experience and move forward with it. Do we get involved to help raise money  to fight the fight, or do we donate? It is up to you how you help as long as you help. I remember one of the most moving things that the American Cancer Society did for me as I was going through my fight. Look good feel better was a makeup class that was offered. This came along the time that I felt that I was looking green and starting to feel like a thing and not a person. I remember how it made me feel coming out of this class, how I felt I could conquer this, because I was a person and not a thing. This class happened for me because of donations that were given from others. There are many more things that the American Cancer Society does for cancer patients. This was one that had a major impact on me during my fight.
