Why We Formed a Relay For Life Fundraising Team

Welcome to the SILENT WARRIORS FIGHTING CANCER Teampage! Cancer has touched many of us in some way, so we are fighting back by raising funds and walking in the Onslow County American Cancer Society Relay For Life event. One of the biggest relays of its kind in the world!!

As a team, we are taking action to help eliminate cancer as a major health problem. The team is made up of the families and friends of local Marines, Sailors and Civilians. Many of which are veterans and understand the meaning of "fight for a cause".  At our Relay event, we will take turns walking around the track to raise money and awareness to help the American Cancer Society in their lifesaving mission. This relentless enemy knows no bounds. It has established its beachhead but we will prevail through the determination and steadfast efforts from a team of Silent Warriors who know what it is like to be in it to win it.

The 2019 SILENT WARRIORS are dedicating this year's relay to the memory of all our lost loved ones and to our current Survivors.
