Hey there, and thank you for stopping at our relay for life fundraising page. We are the Golden girls and we are all here for one common goal- support our girl Melissa. As many of you know Melissa was diagnosed with Bladder Cancer. If you know melissa- you love Melissa and you also know how incredibly strong she is. I can’t personally say what Melissa means to everyone, but I know what she means to me. Melissa has always been, and continues to be, one of my favorite humans on the planet. She radiates joy, she is hilarious and above all she is caring. She exudes genuineness, empathy and grace. I have never felt judged by her and I have always parted ways with her feeling understood, valid and seen. I can’t properly express what that means to have in a friend. So when a person that you care about a whole bunch tells you they are bad sick, and then says “I don’t need anything, just support.” What better way to show our support then to create this relay team. Relay For Life is a movement, a community of like-minded survivors, caregivers, volunteers, and participants who believe that the future can be free from cancer. The funds we're raising will help sustain critical research and patient services in this difficult time. Believe us, every dollar really does count, so we're asking for help. Please donate today, because together we can accomplish anything!
