Hi family & friends, I have been Co-Captain of this Team with my older sister Marie for a few years now, our newest Co-Captian is my cousin Fran. We welcome you to join our team or start your own team, its really simple and join us on the track. We reflect on life, have some fun and meet so many beautiful people, with many stories with one thing in common "cancer" Message us if you have any questions.
I RELAY FOR MY MOM, RONNIE BALDERAMA ! She had Lung cancer and she lost her battle to this stupid cancer. She also had battled Colon Cancer. I will also Relay for my Sister Marie, a survivor of Breast Cancer. And we will not stop there. I have so many family and friends that have lost their battle with Cancer, going through Cancer right now and many many that are survivors of Cancer. Cancer sucks, I hate it so much and it does not sleep. So for 24 hour we will not sleep, We will Walk and Relay on July 16th to help raise money for the American Cancer Society. We are so grateful for you all who had joined our team, that In the past together we have walked and logged hundreds of laps and raised thousands of dollars.
** If you would like yourself or loved ones who have battled cancer honored please send me their names so I can include them on our page, our journey during the Relay for Life Event and of course our continued prayers**
** Just fun facts: Our first year we had won "Best Campsite Decorations" - We had Green & Red Christmas Decorations and then for 2 years we won "Most Spirited Team" - We had worn Christmas Hats, Santas, Reindeers, elf outfits and passed out Candy Canes during our lap, While DJ Chrismixx played christmas music for us ! Thanks to all our supporters who made this happen!
COVID-19 has put cancer patients at risk attacking already weakened immune systems, delaying cancer treatments, and closing many clinical trials. Because of the impact cancer has had on my life, I'm doing something about it. I've joined Relay For Life to remember people we've lost and offer up support to anyone in our community who is affected by cancer. And that's why I need your support!
The funds I'm raising will help sustain critical research and patient services in this difficult time. Believe me, every dollar really does count, so I'm asking for your help. Please donate today, because together we can accomplish anything!
