As many of you know, my mom and grandma are breast cancer survivors and are the whole reason I relay. Their strength pushed me forward into medicine and my drive to help create a cancer free future. This year I am working in a multiple myeloma lab that is funded by ACS, and I am so grateful to see the impact we have on research. I also work with the B+ Foundation to help support families with children fighting cancer, the kids we help are so strong and happy despite it all. In the photo above is our sweet Cassidy, she is currently done with chemo and waiting for surgery, and I am so happy to be watching her grow and heal. I am so proud to be a part of both these organizations and bringing them together at Relay.
