Good question, I’ve been walking for The American Cancer Society Relay for Life since 2004. A dear friend of mine, Juretta Dixon past February 2004 from breast cancer. The monies that been raised helps in so many ways. **Hope Lodge Lodging for cancer patients who must travel away from home for the best treatment **Road to Recovery For patients that need to be driven to and from treatment **Look Good / Feel Good Whether it’s wigs, new hairdo or make up **Finally, Reach to Recovery There are the different support Programs that volunteers offer such as being a listening ear to patients, and family. So as you can see there are many ways donations help toward our cause. I will bring it even closer why I Relay. I do the Relay, because my husband is a prostate survivor of cancer. Each day is one day closer to finding the cure.
