Joining the Northport community's - American Cancer Society - Relay for Life, is our small part in helping celebrate survivors, remember those we have lost, and offer up support to anyone in our community who has been affected. In November 2019 we were personally impacted by Drew's stage 4 cancer diagnosis. A completely unexpected medical moment turned our world upside down and changed the course of how we would live our lives. In the days immediately following the news, we oscillated between moments of disbelief, fear, and strategic medical planning -- to put it bluntly it was utter chaos. However, the unwavering support of our family, friends, community, and medical experts put Drew and our family on a path of great purpose. We made a very conscious choice to lean into the gift of a modern medical action plan, the power of positivity and prayer. For those of you who know Drew well, we truly believe it has been this priceless combination along with his humor, mental strength and zest for life that has seen him and all of us through his medically and mentally darkest days. We are so happy and thankful to share that Drew is doing great, and continues to be closely monitored by his amazing medical team. Please join Team Acerra and help make a difference. "It's game on.
