Why We Formed a Relay For Life Fundraising Team

Welcome to our team page! Cancer has touched many of us in some way, so we decided to fight back by raising funds, awareness and show support by walking in our local American Cancer Society Relay For Life event.

As a team, we are taking action to help eliminate cancer as a major health problem. At our Relay event, we will take turns walking around the track to raise money and awareness to help the American Cancer Society in their lifesaving mission.

Please join our team or make a donation. Saving lives from cancer starts one team, one participant, one dollar at a time. We always have room for relay family, so sign up and join us or make a donation today! Our relay family continues to grow.  Team members, are considered family, in fact some of us actually are!! There are family, friends, coworkers of all sorts that walk together to fight back. Our founder, Tracy Dragon’s Grandmother was a breast cancer survivor. While we always honored her survivorship, though she is gone...we will continue to honor her as a survivor. Cancer has crept up in our lives unexpectedly with Tracy's father-in-law,  Fran. He lost a short, but very difficult battle a number of years ago, we remember Pepere every year at Relay and always. Our friends, family and coworkers have been diagnosed too many, too much! This is our chance to honor ALL. we are a proud team who raise up the Survivors on our team, and are blessed to have them. Please help us continue our efforts so one day in our future, our next generation’s relays will only have no sorrow like we’ve had.
