This past year, my family undertook the loss of a wonderful woman who was very close to us. While the tragedy of her passing has left a whole in our hearts, it has also shown us just how crucial it is to fight and advocate for a cure for cancer. Relay for Life has allowed me to do that through community involvement, survivorship programs, and educational opportunities. The battle against cancer is never ending, and so is my family and I’s will to continue being a part of the change. One world, one hope!
