WHY WE RELAYPeople + Effort + Time = CURESMore People + More Effort + More Time =MORE CURES + MORE HOPE + MORE BIRTHDAYS + MORE HAPPINESSWE Relay for those who have given the most,sometimes all that they have.WE Relay so that someday no onewill have to give as much as they have given.Every moment of every day, they are in our hearts,just as we are in their hearts.Here, there, everywhere.It is that simple.WE are people who in some way are fighting cancer.Some are survivors. Some are caregivers. Some are family or friends of survivors or caregivers.WE are people who in some way have been hurt by cancer.Relay unites us to help good happen.Our team "Rae of Hope!!" is named after Rae Marie Stack, our daughter, sister, best friend, niece, cousin, friend, roommate, co-worker and many other persons to many other people.Rae was diagnosed with a cancerous muscle tumor when she was 21 months old.Rae survived the treatments, and fought with the side effects of her treatments for 23 years, until they overwhelmed her body's ability to fight back.Rae inspired me to become part of Relay For Life.WE Relay for everyone WE know.WE know that everyone WE know is somehow impacted by cancer.WE want to make a positive difference in the fights against cancer and Relay is one of the best ways we can do it.WE want you to please be a part of our Relay in some way that works for you.We want you to walk with us, drop by with cookies, hope it doesn't rain, donate or do anything that you think will help.Whatever works for you, works for all of us.Together we can accomplish far more for everyone than any of us could do on our own.
