Cancer affects everyone, and it's up to all of us to support the American Cancer Society, so, one day, the much sought-after cure can become reality.

It has been just over 2 years since I lost my brother, Jack, to brain cancer. I have joined Relay For Life again this year to remember Jack's strong and kind soul, and offer support to anyone in our community who is touched by this insidious disease. The funds raised will help sustain critical research and patient services in this difficult time. Believe me, every dollar really does count, so I'm asking for your help. It is the fervent hope of me and my family that a cure for brain cancer can be developed to spare other families from similar devastation.

Through services and resources like free rides to chemo, free places to stay near hospitals, and a live 24/7 helpline, cancer patients and their families will feel the love. Here’s how recent money raised has been put to incredible uses.

As of January 2022, we have invested $400 M for potentially lifesaving cancer research grants.

We have received over 250,000 calls and chats from patients and caregivers seeking support in 2021

Cancer patients benefited from ACS transportation support through our Road TO Recovery program and transportation grants in 2021, with nearly 229,000 rides provided.
