Mary "Ba" Beerbower was my mother. She worked to defeat leukemia and told her oncologist, "You have to make me well, because I'm going to be in the Relay for Life." She even named our team using her nickname "Ba." In 2006, the year of her passing Ba's Brigade walked in its first relay. Since that time it has raised thousands of dollars to support the American Cancer Society and its efforts to promote screenings and early detection, to develop new treatments, and to assist patients in their times of need. Won't you please sign up and join me in my quest to raise money for ACS.
