Cancer has affected so many people in my life and it has inspired me to join Relay For Life. My family and friends showed me the importance of fighting, to never give up, and to make your own game plan. The founder of an organization I look up to, Cancer for College, started his cause "...to make the world a better place for cancer survivors.” Ever since I read that promise and been with that organization I have been trying to do my own part.
Because of the impact cancer has had on my life, I'm doing something about it. The funds I'm raising will help sustain critical research and patient services in this difficult time.
This is my third year participating in Relay For Life and I am grateful to be on the team relations committee where I get to manage and be a point of contact for team captains so they know how to work together to fundraise with their group to help the fight.
I can now only ask for you to help me celebrate these survivors, help those currently in the battle, honor those who have passed, and offer support to anyone who is affected by cancer.
Please donate today, because together we can accomplish anything! Believe me, every dollar counts!
