Hi friends! Maria (D'Angelo) Ugartechea here- daughter of the Legend, Gerry D'Angelo. As many of you know, my dad was diagnosed with Stage 3 Breast Cancer in December 2022. That's right.. men can get breast cancer too. According to the American Cancer Society, 2,790 cases will be diagnosed each year. He completed 5 months of intense chemotherpy, a mastectomy & 18 lymph nodes removed, 40 rounds of radiation, & is currently doing cancer targeted infusions that will come to an end March 20th. This will complete one year of treatments. He has been a true warrior throughout it all, and wants to bring hope to all those that are battling cancer. He is the Honorary Chair for Relay for Life of Polk County in Florida. We are ready to raise money for the American Cancer Society's support service & lifesaving research in his honor. Believe us, every dollar really does count, so we're asking for your help. Please donate or join our team today, because together we can end cancer. I personally want to thank the doctors, nurses, and staff as they are true heroes.
