Even though we all have our own reason for joining Relay For Life, I help restart the team at Terrell Lane Middle School in honor of my baby sister who passed away at a very young age from breast cancer. She taught math at TLMS for many years. Our team is fundraising for the American Cancer Society's support service and lifesaving research again this year with a goal of $1000. I am excited to say that we have met our goal for the last 2 years.
Believe me, every dollar really does count and those living with cancer and their caregivers are very appreciative. Because of Relay for Life my sister was able to recieve financial help with her bills due to not being able to work. So I am asking for your help. Please donate or join my team today, because together we can continue to fund research for cures for cancer and together we can let families know that they are not alone on this journey.
