Every family has been affected by cancer in an array of ways. I have been a caregiver and cancer patient. I have experienced loss, heartbreak, and pain. I have experienced healing and recovery. We lost our precious Mike in 2018 to Thymus thymona cancer. I was diagnosed almost exactly a year later in 2019 with breast cancer. God's gift to us is our children, Ellie and Joseph. They have been brave and courageous.
The American Cancer Society offers resources for patients, families, and caregiviers as they navigate daily life with a cancer diagnosis. It can be overwhelming and difficult. Doctors and scientists are working diligently to find a sure and have access to research funding through ACS. Each luminary and bracelet purchased will help house a patient in the Hope Lodge, give a ride to a patient going to treatment , pay for medication, and fund the research to put a stop to cancer.
Purchase a lumninary or bracelet to support our team. Join us for a walk or drive thru on Saturday, November 9th from 7:00-8:00 pm at 3204 Mineral Springs Rd.
