Honoring Hometown Heroes
My name is Terrie McAdams Randolph, in August of 2024 I found myself facing the challenges of overcoming Ovarian Cancer. Thankfully, I am currently cancer free. Unfortunately, I am not the only one in my family that has been plagued by various forms of cancer. Over the years, I have lost my Mother, my Aunt and my grandfather to the disease. As I maneuvered my way through the healing process, I began to count all of the friends and members of my hometown community that have also been impacted by similar struggles. At this point, My sister Tracie McAdams has decided that enough was enough. She had recently lost a great niece and a very dear friend of 50 years. NOW IS THE TIME TO ACT. So together we decided to join forces with the hopes of raising funds and awareness. It is our hope to honor all of our HOMETOWN HEROS that have faced the challenge of cancer, for those that have beaten the disease, and for all of the loved ones that have lost their battle to the disease. Even though we all have our own reason for joining Relay For Life, we'll take down cancer because we're in it together. Our team is fundraising for the American Cancer Society's support service and lifesaving research. Believe us, every dollar really does count, so we're asking for your help. Please donate or join our team today, because together we can end cancer.

Thank you for fueling the American Cancer Society's fight against cancer.
Cancer hits far too close to home, so the funds you raise will help do the same. Through services and resources like free rides to chemo, free places to stay near hospitals, and a live 24/7 helpline, cancer patients and their families will feel the love. Here’s how recent money raised has been put to incredible uses.
Since 1991 we have invested $3.43 billion in cancer research.
We have received over 360,000 calls and chats from patients and caregivers seeking support in 2023.
Cancer patients benefited from the ACS transportation support through our Road To Recovery program and transportation grants in 2023, with nearly 769,000 rides provided.
Many thanks to our generous sponsors for fueling the American Cancer Society's fight against cancer.

This isn’t what I wanted.
Cancer has touched all of us in some way. And we want to stop this disease in its tracks. We'll spend the next few weeks fundraising for the American Cancer Society. Then, on the day of the event, we'll honor the lives lost to cancer, celebrate survivors, and support the caregivers who so selflessly help others.
Together, we'll be a part of making a difference in this important cause.
