By forming Relay For Life teams at the local level, by volunteering time to help at the event, and by carrying out fund-raising activities to support the American Cancer Society.
Where Does the Money Go?
Your donations help the American Cancer Society provide funding for a wide range of services including research, education and treatment counseling for cancer patients, their families and medical professionals around the globe.
How Do I Get Involved?
Click "Sign Up", enter your zip code, and sign up for a Relay For Life near you. When you "Start a team" as a Team Captain, be sure to select Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority from the drop-down of National Team corporations, and incorporate Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority into your team name. Or, click the "Join Existing Team" link to become a team member.

Why We Joined Relay
We chose Relay For Life because it’s important to our employees to make a positive difference in this world. And as a company, we know we can make a bigger difference when we combine forces. The money we’ll raise helps The American Cancer Society give patients what they need the most-hope, support, and lifesaving research.
We7rsquo;re forming a team and we want you to join us for a day that honors those we’ve lost to cancer and celebrates survivors and caregivers. The American Cancer Society depends on us to raise the money they need to impact those whose lives have been touched by cancer.
You can start your own team or join an existing team. You can also make a donation at any time, so let’s get out there, have some fun and raise some funds.
