Why We are Participating in Making Strides

Welcome to our Team Page! Excelsia Injury Care formed a team for this year’s Making Strides Against Breast Cancer walk event because this cause is important to us and so many of our employees. We want to make an impact as a company and getting all of our markets involved - covering Greater Baltimore, Pennsylvania, Delaware, and even St. Louis - in their local Making Strides event is the best way we can do that. We all have different reasons for participating, but we share a determination to help save lives from breast cancer.

Funds raised by our team for this important and meaningful cause help in a multitude of ways.  They support innovative research, provide free information for those battling breast cancer, and contribute to transportation and lodging for individuals who must seek treatment far from home. In short, our fundraising efforts help save lives. Consider donating to our team to help advance the cause.

How We Support the American Cancer Society

We welcome all Excelsia employees to walk in their local Making Strides Against Breast Cancer event and encourage each office location to form a team. Any donations from family, friends, and other supporters fuel our fight. Employees can organize fundraising campaigns leading up to the big event, such as hosting bake sales, car washes, and countless other types of activations. Beyond fundraising, raising awareness of the event on social media, by word of mouth, or through flyers at work and around the neighborhood further helps promote our cause. Excelsia and the Making Strides local walk leaders are here to help and guide you.

It’s providing rides to treatment and places to stay for people who have to seek treatment far from home. In short, our money is helping save lives. Of course we walk in the Making Strides Against Breast Cancer event. And we solicit donations from family, friends, and other supporters. But we also schedule fundraisers in lead-up to the big event. Bake-sales, car washes, and countless other types of events. And we promote those on social media, through Facebook and Twitter, by word of mouth, and through flyers at work and around the neighborhood. The success of fundraising events depends on two things - hard work and getting the word out. And we're out to do both. Keep an eye out for our fundraising events.
