Women make invaluable contributions to cancer research, yet they’re consistently
underrepresented in research leadership. The ResearcHERS campaign wants to change that.
Together, we can sustain women-led cancer research, bolster the careers of women researchers,
and support a more robust pipeline of those leaders in cancer research. Our goal? To ensure
the unique perspective of women remains a powerful and growing force in cancer research.
ResearcHERS is bringing together our community’s most
influential leaders who identify as women to raise funds to fuel
the work of women scientists.
And we need women like you to join the movement.
Join the movement
ResearcHERS gives women an opportunity to fundraise for women-led cancer research,
but it’s more than a fundraising program. ResearcHERS is a sisterhood of purpose
determined to sustain women-led cancer research and recognize the female trailblazers
in the field. The American Cancer Society has funded 50 researchers who have gone on to receive the Nobel Prize, and in 2022, Dr. Carolyn Bertozzi became the first woman ACS has funded to be awarded the Nobel Prize in Chemistry. Join the ResearcHERS movement and help us fuel the future of women-led cancer research.
Register yourself or nominate someone you know - and help fuel the future of
women in cancer research today.
When you donate to ResearcHERS, you're helping to bolster the careers and sustain the pipeline of female researchers. You're helping to build a future where women are one of many - not one of few - in cancer research leadership. In short? You're helping to strengthen the field of cancer research.

Cancer has touched all of us in some way.
And we want to stop this disease in its tracks.
We'll spend the next few weeks fundraising for the American Cancer Society.
Then, on the day of the event, we'll honor the lives lost to cancer, celebrate survivors, and support the caregivers who so selflessly help others.
Together, we'll be a part of making a difference in this important cause.
